Indiana Early for Trump Tour – I Was There

Early for Trump Event - September 8 2016 (6)

Earlier today, I attended a local Trump/Pence event with a lifelong friend of my family. The event was a very nice-sized meet up of sorts.

The Early for Trump Event was hosted by Trump State Chairman Rex Early, Indiana Trump Vice Chairman Tony Samuel, and State GOP Chairman Jeff Cardwell in Greenfield, Indiana, which happened to be their third stop of the day. They are quite ambitious and they’re running an aggressive campaign to help Donald Trump and Mike Pence in their race for the White House.

While listening to the hope and enthusiasm in their voices, and the sense of enthusiasm around the room, I was taken back to the day I attended the Hillary Clinton rally in Anderson, Indiana way back in 2008. One thing that really struck me was, back then I was like so many people who support Hillary. I complained a lot about never having enough, about how the government needs to do more, about free this, free that and just complaining in general. While at the Hillary rally, I remember it was a constant attack on her opponent at the time, Barack Obama. Very much like it is today with her constant attack on Donald Trump.

By the time I was ready to leave the Early for Trump event, I realized I am no longer a victim of liberal politics. I am no longer allowing liberal politics to keep me weak, poor and brainwashed into seeing myself as a victim just to secure my vote with all their hopey-changey promises.

No! Today I walked out feeling empowered, happy, enthused and confident in the choice I made last July to abandoned the Democrats and rally behind Donald Trump. I will never go back to playing the victim again! I’m done with the “free lunch crowd.”

So happy you were able to attend this. Since last year it has been really interesting watching you develop your own mind and away from the liberal views. I still remember how passionate you were towards Hillary back in the day. Were you able to meet him yet? I can’t wait to see how this all turns out. Hopefully the way we want. Go Trump!

It was an inspiring and uplifting meetup. I met some great people and know more than ever I am on the right team this election season. No, I’ve not been able to meet him yet. I do hope to eventually. It’s on my bucket list 🙂

I refuse to be a victim of liberal policies. So happy to see my friends feel the same way I do on so many levels.

Every day, I think of Kate Steinle and am thankful her death has such important meaning in my life. If it had not been for her, I am not sure I would have ever seen the truth!
