As Donald Trump was being sworn in as the 45th president of the United States, a Saturday Night Live “Weekend Update” writer, Katie Rich took aim at Trump’s 10-year-old son Barron, posting an incendiary tweet that remained live for roughly three hours before later deleting it.
Rich launched her tweet saying that “Barron will be this country's first home school shooter.”
She eventually removed her tweet, but we all know that nothing is ever removed from the Internet. Twitter users took notice. There was a flood of responses condemning Rich for her attack on a child while others began fiercely calling for SNL to terminate her employment immediately.
It seems like several other celebrities people have lost their minds during the Trump Inauguration. Julie Bowen of Modern Family took to her Instagram to poke fun at Barron during the ceremonies. Trump supporters and people with good common sense who are somewhat sensitive and protective of Barron Trump since the Rosie O’Donnell fiasco when Rosie thought she was smart enough to render an autism diagnosis on Barron.
Personally, I am making my list of celebrities and performers that I will no longer support in any way! Their efforts to divide and keep America divided are despicable and should not be rewarded!
