About That Private Meeting Between US Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton

Private Meeting Between US Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton

Even if the recent meeting between Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton was nothing more than simple pleasantries, the fact that there is an open investigation that involves Lynch and Hillary Clinton makes the meeting unethical.

As American's we can't really expect “ethical” behavior from a man who was impeached for obstruction of justice and perjury. However, we SHOULD expect more from our attorney general.

Lawyers, judges and elected officials should avoid actual impropriety, as well as the appearance of impropriety – ESPECIALLY the AG in the midst of a federal investigation and crucial election season.

They are both lawyers. They know the law! They HAD to know the PRIVATE meeting would raise suspicion yet they met anyway. That alone tells me there was something more important to their meeting than simple pleasantries. You don't take risks like THAT unless there is something to gain. That's just common sense!

Why exactly was Bill Clinton in Phoenix? Lynch was arriving in Phoenix for a planned visit as part of her national tour to promote community policing, but I've not see a thing on why Bill was there. I'm more than certain he wasn't in Phoenix simply to play golf – not this close to convention and election. It just seems a little “too convenient” for me.
