In viewers and young adults, “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” stands as ABC’s 2nd-biggest special after the “Academy Awards.”
While later, given the time period, the second segment of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest – Part 2” attracted an average audience of 6.2 million Total Viewers and a 2.4 rating in Adults 18-49.
